Tell us about some highlights in your time as a DJ
I started out in Music working at PRS FOR Music who pay royalties to members for the use of their work while protecting the future of music through partnerships. I then moved on to creating mix tape compilations in the late 90s in days of CDs but didn’t know how to mix two songs together. I used lockdown as opportunity to buy some musical equipment such as DDJs, and slowly learnt how to mix, transition etc.
Since then I have played on West London station Isolate FM and now host a fortnightly show ‘Soulful Sensations’ on Londonsomethinglive alongside some of London’s finest DJ’s which is an honour. The journey continues and for me music is therapy.
Have you done any production? If not, is it something you aim to do?
Not yet but you never know what the future holds.
